The Role 

Amphenol Military High Speed is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to work out of its new facility in Endicott, NY.

The key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Supervisor include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage AMHS Endicott production workflow centers, production, and production support groups
  • Administrative responsibility for hourly employees
  • Understand and resolve impediments to production flow (i.e. materials shortages, labor, and/or equipment issues)
  • Responsible for ensuring safety and quality of the assigned work area
  • Facilitate budgeted cost reductions, productivity improvements, and capital equipment recommendations
  • Facilitate and support training of assigned personnel 
  • Interface with Human Resources in resolving labor issues and enforcing all Company policies
  • Customer service support and responsibility for on-time delivery
  • Supervisor and manager responsibilities related to EHS:
    • Ensure safe work practices are being followed by their employees
    • Ensure their direct reports attend required EHS trainings
    • Understand training requirements for tasks that are being performed
    • Ensure incidents and near misses are appropriately reported and corrective actions are implemented

Salary: $68,000 - $82,000

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Manufacturing Supervisor at Amphenol Military High Speed:

  • Bachelor's degree in operations related discipline or equivalent education/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior operations or materials related experience
  • Cost reduction and budget experience
  • Prior personnel management and/or leadership experience
  • Working knowledge of Plant Manufacturing Operations and MRP systems
  • Understanding of factory documentation and Quality Systems
