
The Role -
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Product Compliance Specialist to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.
The Product Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring products and components meet state, federal, and global regulatory requirements for restricted substances. The position manages supplier compliance data, regulatory monitoring, conflict minerals and supply-chain reporting, customer compliance requests, and internal tools used to evaluate and approve materials.
The key responsibilities of the Product Compliance Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for analyzing manufactured assemblies for compliance with EU RoHS, REACH, China RoHS, and specific customer restricted substance requirements
- Interface with suppliers to obtain substance information for components and report on findings
- Perform regular vendor/supplier surveys for new and evolving regulations
- Conflict minerals reporting
- Product Compliance Evaluations for New Material Approvals
- Customer Compliance Requests/ Surveys
- Maintain and develop internal tools for product compliance determinations

Salary - $62,354 - $80,000
The Person -
The key skills and qualities of an Product Compliance Specialist at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality science, STEM field or equivalent education/work experience
- Familiarity with product compliance preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office Skills – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Typing, sitting, bending
- Interaction with operations (walking, lifting, bending, climbing stairs)
- Occasional travel (10-15%)
