The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Specifications Representative to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of the Specifications Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical support for all products and serve as liaison between customers, distributors, and all internal departments regarding product applications and capabilities
  • Responsible for providing technical assistance regarding products to field, OEM, and distribution
  • Responsible for providing technical assistance to inside/outside sales representatives and product managers
  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing on technical documents and issues
  • Review customer drawing revisions for compliance with AAO documents and update systems
  • Review customer terms and conditions, as well as quality documents, involving other departments as needed to update systems
  • Review customer packaging requirements and assign or create SPs to comply
  • Correspond with customers verbally and in writing
  • Provide technical field sales support
  • Action assigned service requests and system stamping issues
  • Review and update training materials
  • Provide basic technical training to marketing/sales personnel
  • Process assigned quotes and orders
  • Assist supervisor with various product support functions

Salary: $40,000 - $55,000

Location -

  • Sidney, NY
    • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
    • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of a Specifications Representative at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accumulation of education and experience, preferably in technical or marketing field
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
  • Travel may be required
