The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • To prepare all documentation for all shipments.
  • Prepare paperwork for all international shipments for export.
  • All documentation required for DOS license/Commerce Department
  • Hazardous Material Shipments
  • Direct Government shipments
  • All Customer required portals.
  • Everyday shipments
  • Interface and problem solve for Other Amphenol shipping facilities.
  • Process invoice reversals for all AAO facilities.
  • Manage document retention requirements to QMS guidelines.
  • Interface with TTC on any freight billing questions
  • Work with UPS, Fedex and other carriers on import/export questions.
  • Audit and approves for payment all import invoices.
  • Reschedules, re-route, intercept, and expedite shipments.
  • Traces and provide proof of delivery upon request.

Salary - $42,000 - $55,000

Location -

  • Sidney, NY
  • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
  • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of a Logistics Coordinator at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Experience in general logistic roles (i.e. warehouse, shipping, freight, etc.)
  • Previous training or job experience in manufacturing.
  • General computer knowledge
  • AS400 experience preferred.
  • Hazmat training/certification experience
  • Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • May have to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Limited lifting and standing
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
