The Role

  • Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Molding Process Engineer to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for the qualification and production launch of molding.

The key responsibilities of a Molding Process Engineer include, but are not limited to:

  • Project responsibility for equipment acquisitions, new processing/technology development, mold tooling, etc.
  • Troubleshoots and provides assistance to engineering design, production and manufacturing engineering
  • Develops and documents processes for new products by working with quality, engineering, and manufacturing
  • Reviews and updates existing processes for validity and continuous improvement

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Molding Process Engineer at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • 3-5 years’ molding experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineer, Industrial & Systems Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or equivalent education/work experience
  • Experience in silicone rubbers, thermoset and thermoplastic technologies preferred
  • Experience in project/program management preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
