The successful candidate will report to the Production Supervisor and will facilitate the preparation of finished products for shipment.  

Pay Scale: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Packaging Specialist to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa. 

The key responsibilities of this Packaging Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped ensuring all goods are in acceptable condition
  • Facilitating the preparation of Works-In-Progress and finished goods for shipment with urgency in respect to delivery dates and shipping timelines
  • Keep management and supervisors aware of supply shortages to ensure operational capability
  • Capable of identifying parts and materials from specifications, drawings, or instructions
  • Work with peers and management to facilitate and ensure timely processing of parts and materials
  • Will work with all tools, gauges, hoisting, weighing equipment, and automated equipment necessary to complete tasks
  • Strong communication, Core Value commitment & excellent attendance
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Motivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under general supervision

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Packaging Specialist at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess High School or equivalent diploma.
  • Able to reads, interpret, and follow blueprints and job instructions to accurately package electrical components including connectors
  • Performs in-process checks to ensure products meet internal and customer quality standards
  • Adhere to sound manufacturing processes and safety standards
  • Motivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under general supervision
  • Prior experience working in a production manufacturing environment preferred but not required
  • Experience with tools, gauges, hoisting, weighing equipment, and automated equipment necessary is a plus
  • Strong communication, Core Value commitment & excellent attendance
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Motivated self-starter, possesses abilities to work under general supervision
