The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, set deadlines, monitor project progress, solve issues that arise, and manage project costs.

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Project Manager to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.

The key responsibilities of this Project Manager include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee facility expansion projects to include: working with and managing the relationship and progress of contractors, establishing project timeline and managing costs.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement plans.
• Creating long and short-term plans for operational and facility improvements.

 The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Project Manager at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 5 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Project management experience across multi-disciplinary teams preferred.
• Software – Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office suite.
• Some travel required.
• Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
• Able to gain the cooperation of team members who are not subordinates.
• Job requires sitting, walking and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.  Periods of computer work.
