The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.
The key responsibilities of this 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Manages work flow centers, production & production support groups
- Administrative responsibility for hourly employees
- Understands and resolves impediments to production flow i.e. materials shortages, labor and or equipment issues
- Responsible for insuring Safety and Quality of the assigned work area
- Facilitates budgeted cost reductions, productivity improvements & capital equipment recommendations
- Interfaces with Union leadership in resolving labor issues and enforces all Company Policies
- Customer service support and responsibility for on time delivery
- Conducts and oversees training of assigned personnel

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Minimum BA/BS in an Operations related discipline or equivalent education/experience.
- 3-5 plus years of prior operations or materials related experience
- Prior personnel managements and/or leadership experience
- Working knowledge of Plant Manufacturing Operations and MRP systems
- Understands factory documentation and Quality Systems
- Cost reduction and budget experience
- Personnel management and leadership
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to move about factory floor, stand for long periods of time, and lift and carry up to 20 pounds
