The successful candidate will report to the quality supervisor and will conduct RMA, rejection investigation and disposition, customer support, customer quality documentation. 

Pay Scale: depending on experience

Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 

The Role 

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Technician to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, AZ.  

The key responsibilities of this Quality Technician include, but are not limited to:

  • Technical support of customer quality issues/escapes in relation to RMA's.
  • Product review and assist QE with disposition, containment, and work orders.
  • Ability to communicate with customer via phone and email.
  • Support of corrective action responses based on customer escape issues and data.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of product workmanship standards & quality procedures manual.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specs. , and documents.
  • Determine rework and process work orders.
  • Review of rejection trends and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with quote and order processing a plus.

  • 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ 

The Person 

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in equal or related field or an associate degree in a technical curriculum 
  • 1 year of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support is required 
  • Able to read and work from written job instructions on operations with minimal guidance.
  • Able to frequently pivot from working in a team environment to working independently depending on the day and work assignments.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Vision acuity 20/25 (with or without corrective lenses), must pass the annual eye exam.
