Measure the accuracy of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) inventory compared to physical inventory.

The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Cycle Counter to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Cycle Counter include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform physical counts of shelf materials either from MRP system generated reports or physical locations
  • Compare count results to MRP system on hand balances
  • Research causes of discrepancies
  • Communicate with stockroom and department supervisors to verify or understand discrepancies
  • Process physical counts in the MRP system once investigation is complete
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor

  • 30 Minute Drive from Binghamton, NY
  • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of a Cycle Counter at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working as a cycle counter or experience working in a stockroom preferred
  • Basic knowledge of computers and entry level data input skills
