
The Role -
Amphenol is seeking a Marketing Trainee to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. After an initial training period, this position may be eligible for a hybrid onsite/work-from-home schedule.
The Marketing Trainee will rotate through Customer Service, Technical Product Support, and General Marketing to develop a working knowledge of Amphenol products, systems, internal/external organization, leading to a position in Product Marketing and future career development within the organization.
The key responsibilities of the Marketing Trainee include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service:
- Quote and order entry
- Quality RMA's, expedites and delinquency tracking
- Customer phone calls
- Customer Technical Support:
- Technical training of connector products
- Spec file, drawing management, customer quality clauses
- Customer technical issues
- Product Line Support and Management:
- Cost reduction projects
- Program tracking
- Pricing support
Salary $55,341 - $57,000

The Person -
The key skills and qualities of a Marketing Trainee at Amphenol:
- Associate's degree in business, engineering, or other technical discipline required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Ability to interface at all levels of departmental and top management at Amphenol
- Ability to promote and sell products
- Organized, self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of learning and using Amphenol's operating programs
- Physical demands of the role are sitting and typing
- Must be able to travel (air and car)
