AAO is currently seeking an innovative individual that demonstrates significant ingenuity in problem solving for the position of Regional Distribution Sales Manager - Midwest US. This individual will build and maintain relationships with channel partners ensuring growth for Amphenol and our channel partners.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the key interface between Amphenol and our local distributor partners
    • Responsible for developing and maintaining relationships
    • Provides technical and pricing support to these local partners and their customers
    • Provides branch product training as necessary
  • Responsible for driving double digit growth in sales (POS) in Midwest US Territory
    • Develops joint pipeline/target account lists to grow Amphenol & share with our major channel partners
    • Coordinates customer visits with our distributor partners
    • Partners with our direct (OEM) sales team to identify and capture opportunities
    • Leads Quarterly Business Reviews with branch and regional leaders to ensure sales goals and strategies are being met
  • Marketing/Factory interface
    • Drives quick and effective pricing from our factory in support of OTD and strategic opportunities
    • Coordinates pricing activity with the distribution marketing and pricing teams
    • Coordinates branch visits with Sidney and other factory resources

Requirements:

  • 4 year bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience. 
  • 2-5 years sales experience in the interconnect industry is preferred, but not required.
  • Customer facing/field experience is preferred.
  • MS Office experience is preferred.
