Credit Specialist – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Sidney, NY

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Credit Specialist to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. The successful candidate will report to the Credit Manager.

The key responsibilities of this Credit Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide Credit Rep duties and responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide technical support to Credit Team
  • Provide for back-up to Cash Application
  • Monitor and assess process controls.  (Shipment to Invoices, RMA to CM,AR Database integrity)
  • Coordinate data requests and files for Audits
  • Administer distribution contract programs for Contractual Returns and SPAF
  • Manage\Audit monthly invoice\shipping LOCKOUT to assure financial cut-off integrity
  • Provide feedback to Credit Manager for Policy and Procedure creation and enhancements
  • Support special projects and audits as needed.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Credit Specialist at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with additional accounting work experience in a manufacturing environment. 
  • Must possess strong internal and external communication skills, have broad business operations knowledge and be able to thrive in a fast paced team environment.
  • Must be able to navigate multiple customer business portals and banking websites. 
  • Must be able to work at computer station for extended periods of time.   Minimal lifting of paper supplies and doc storage.
