The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and monitor the manufacturing and inspection processes within the facility.
Pay Scale: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Shift Hours: 3:15 PM - 11:45 PM

The Role
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Roaming Inspector to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.
The key responsibilities of this Quality Roaming Inspector include, but are not limited to:
- Perform final inspection
- Perform in-process inspection from pieces that came off the CNC during the production run
- Identify and communicate problems as needed
- Maintain all records associated with the product
- Work in conjunction with engineers to provide feedback
- Conduct continuous improvement activities

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Quality Roaming Inspector at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:
- Quality Inspection: proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, height indicators, gage pins, pitch micrometers, and various special gages to ensure compliance with blueprints
- Ability to understand and inspect to workmanship standards
- Ability to run and interpret results on CMM or other optical measuring systems
- Experience working in a machine shop environment
- GD&T knowledge
- Read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics and work from written job instructions on operations
- Optical measurement: Ability to inspect and interpret Keyence and Nikon measuring microscope results
- Intermediate computer skills
- Knowledge of basic math and trigonometry
