Inside Sales Representative – Competitive Salary + Benefits – Sidney, NY

The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY. The successful candidate will report to the Inside Sales Supervisor.

The key responsibilities of this Inside Sales Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary purpose of this position is inside sales and support for assigned territories
  • Identification of decision makers at accounts and coordination of activity through them
  • Prompt processing of RFQ’s received from customer:  Management of RFQ from customer initiation to quote distribution back to customer within specific time frame
  • Maintain adequate on-going projects and relationships to meet tactical and strategic sales objectives
  • Additional exempt duties are required

The Person

The key skills and qualities of an Inside Sales Representative at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • Prior inside Sales experience (1-3 years) and/or recent college graduate with a Business Degree
  • Work independently to achieve goals and work as a team player to support and motivate others
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Proficient in the use of a wide variety of computer software
  • Efficiently multi-task while managing both time and workloads
  •  Technical skill set, and strong mechanical aptitude (knowledge of engineering drawings a plus)
  • Small to mid-size account management skills that cover communication, interpersonal, presentation, negotiating and follow up skills
  • Ability to travel 0-10%
