Measure the accuracy of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) inventory compared to physical inventory and maintain an accurate MRP inventory balance by making adjustments in the system for any discrepancies.  


The Role -

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Cycle Counter to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Cycle Counter include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform physical counts of shelf materials either from MRP system generated reports or physical locations
  • Compare count results to MRP system on hand balances
  • Research causes of discrepancies
  • Communicate with stockroom and department supervisors to verify or understand discrepancies
  • Process physical counts in the MRP system once investigation is complete
  • Other duties as required by Supervisor

  • 20 Minute Drive from Oneonta, NY

The Person -

The key skills and qualities of a Cycle Counter at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working as a cycle counter or experience working in a stockroom preferred
  • Must be able to stand and walk throughout the facility continuously
  • Must be able to lift 20 – 60 pounds
  • Must be able to navigate through manufacturing departments
  • Must be able to work in manufacturing environment which may include noise and warm temperatures
  • Basic knowledge of computers and entry level data input skills
