The Role

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Development to work out of its state-of-the-art facility in Sidney, NY.

The key responsibilities of this Project Manager for New Product Development include, but are not limited to:

  • They are to aid in the maintenance of the new product development roadmap
  • Help lead cross-functional teams of product managers, design engineers, and process engineers in the efficient development and production release of new products.
  • They should be vocal advocates for their projects and uncompromising in their commitment to the quality, thoroughness, and innovativity of the product they drive to market.

The Person

The key skills and qualities of a Project Manager for New Product Development at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

  • A successful candidate will be innovative, creative, and analytical; have a strong grasp of basic mechanical and electrical engineering concepts, and be comfortable holding important stakeholders in engineering, sales, and marketing accountable to their commitments. At minimum, candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business-related field. Knowledge of connector design and/or military interconnect market preferred.
